The Importance of Honesty in the Conversation
Tommy Maitian: Christianity and liberalism are two different religions. Part of Maitian's very direct tone throughout the book is really addressing that difference, he says. We need to be having this conversation with the integrity of being honest about where we are, Tommy writes. He adds there's definitely a political aspect to this, and there's being political in certain contexts is necessary when the truth is under attack.
