The Importance of Maidan in Ukrainian History
The memory of Maidan was always in the shadow of war because war was the most important thing for us since 2014. We call those heroes Heavenly Hundred and hundred this naming of the unit goes back to Kazakh times so that's why it's Heavenly Hundred not because it's exactly one hundred people unfortunately there is more. It was very important for everyone still to you know honor the memory of the people killed there. Obviously there were people who had other views who were anti Maidan and they would not of course honor the memory but I don't know this is okay this is a society that is free and everyone can have their views.
