Health economics is a big mixture of statistician working on it but you have also economists, modellists and clinicians so I think it's been a bit slower to get to the point where everybody realizes that you need a bit more sometimes. The models that we do they can be a bit bigger and a bit more complicated than the standard kind of statistical model when you need to look at observational data. We've done a lot of work with some of my PhD students and colleagues and the idea is essentially to embed this element of causal modeling to rebalance the two data sets that you have in the first instance.
