Asherbiologically that's actually quite useful in the sense that if I say I'm going to go look for life on other planets or I think there is this thing called life in the universe then I really am saying there's this objective category that exists that we can call life and it should have some property common to all life. But what are those universal properties? The challenging thing is those might not be things that we expect them to be.
