Sparkly Water Tastes Different

Reddit suggested that if you want to try to taste how the water tastes different, you have to let it go flat. Let the bubbles be removed and then you can taste what the water tastes like. And so I tried this out and it's like, yes, I can taste that the water tastesDifferent. If you let it goflat, is that the carbonic acid? Is that not the carbonic Acid? I guess it is. So I'm revising my opinion here and saying that you are not crazy if you think that sparkly water has a different taste than just water with bubbles,. but there is something different here.
