Chad's Purpose
Chad was a sexton, which isn't quite as sexy as it may sound initially because it actually means grave digger. After he had a near death experience, he became convinced that he could see beyond the veil. He believed that he had spoken to Jesus and he believed that he was now a clairvoyant. It's nice to feel like your life means something. And this is the same kind of thinking that led Jim Jones in Guyanese jungle for his quote-unquote agricultural project.
