Introduction

This week we're going to do an unscripted retrospective special. What basically we want to do is have a look at what was going on for the History of the World Podcast on this very day in the previous years of its existence. So we start one year ago, what were we talking about one year ago? This was the occasion of an episode within Volume 4 so within the volume that we're currently covering and it was on the Icelandic poet historian author called Snorri Stotlassen. The situation in Iceland had become very volatile and not least of all for Snorri himself as we find out now.
