The Value of Genuinely Caring Enough About the Other Side
I think this is really important for us to remember in the corporate world too, because there are some times, just like you said, we need them to survive. And so let's go deeper into the value of genuinely caring enough about the other side to actually want to help them to succeed. For and it's easy for me for 25, 30 years, I never had the balance of power in my favor, not a single time. Recognize that and you start with no power. So even when we are disadvantaged, my objective is to make the other side behave reasonably so that we can find a solution which is good for everyone.
