Is That Really an Applicative?

It's hard to know with Sumerian just because the writing system is so defective until it had been dead for several thousand years. But there's this long chain of prefixes that happen on the Sumerian verb. And some of those also seem to be nothing more than agreeing with locative expressions or other case expressions happening upstream in the sentence. With Sumerian, it's sort of like a Rorschach ink block test. You can sort of project onto it almost anything you want because we don't know enough.
