Ruby and Crystal: An Ecosystem

Crystal is a Ruby-based language that's being developed as part of the Ruby ecosystem. The team has not yet decided how long it will support 1.0, but they have some ideas for 2.0. They are hidden behind a flag so you can opt in if you want to use Crystal with new language semantics. It should allow us some way of easy transformation towardsnew language semantics.
