What Is Section 230 and Where Does It Come From?
Section two 30 was a separate bill that was then in a legislative process merged with the Communications Decency Act and passed in 1996. It allowed platforms to not be liable for third party user generated content. Now we have Google and Facebook and Instagram and Twitter and sick talk has emerged into the scene, all of them are using section two 30 as their liability shield against very litigious system that is the United States.
