Bitcoin's Dollarization
I don't see de-dulmarization happening with any of the fiat currencies, but I do see it happening with Bitcoin. If you want to beat the dollar, if you want to replace the dollar, there's one scoreboard,. There's one metric that you need to win. And that's the size of cash balances. That's what makes dollars the most liquid thing. None of the others are even fighting in this race because playing that race requires you to have open capital markets and non inflationary monetary policy. So they're not even trying to increase their cash balances beyond the dollar.
