Danny Kahneman and Amos Fursky had an incredibly fruitful, original intellectual partnership that was also a very rocky relationship at times. Danny felt that Amos was getting a lot of credit for their work. And as you write the story three days before Amos Furski was diagnosed with melanoma, they'd effectively ended their friendship. The two men later won a Nobel Prize in economics.
