Is Jeff Basos's Donation a Good Idea?

You should invest it in your company, and you should also give it away. You could argue that's not jeff baso's personal responsibility. Yet i imagine he makes the decision of how it's distributed. So he has a say in it. But probably the board votes on how much pay the workers get. It's not only his decision. I'd like to know though, does he propose it whether they vote for or not? Simply does he ask for it? If you were a billionaire, resa, and you had as much money as jeff baysus, what donations would you make?
