The Threat of a Mini-Climate Scheme

We should be having a marginal abatement curve. That's the original intention of the industry, where we want to do the easiest and cheapest to abate things first. And so I've long argued that this is a mini-carbon scheme if it's a hard target. We need to cast a net widely in terms of the abatement options rather than the government specifying what many people still consider to be a range of dodgy land use stuff. Yes, a fair way to go on that.
