The Origin of the Bluestones at Stonehenge
Many claim the blue stones were transported from wales to wiltshire. Some scientists have suggested that glacial activity could be responsible. Strontium isotope analysis of cremated individuals at stonehenge suggests some may have originated from modern welsh lands, demonstrating a connection between the origin of the cremated individuals and the origin of bluestones. But we must not forget the power of human resource because if we go back in time over five thousand years then we believe that humans had successfully physically moved and erected the stones at gabeclitepe in modern turkey.
