Do You Have a Gun in Your State?
The court did not touch even the permitting restrictions that states like new york and massachusetts have for just owning a gun, aside from carrying a gun. They still make it very difficult to own a gun in those states. But t is ocotta said that you can't make it more difficult to carry with that subjective criteria yet. So the objective criteria not really touched. And so for these states they throw out this veto point essentially that bureaucrats can use using subjective criteria,. and not much else changes. That seems to follow along with the court's previous jurisprudence on the second amendment over the last decade or so, a decade and a half.
