Bolsonaro left for the U.S. just before his term in office ended, because he wanted to avoid being in Brazil when President Lula took power. He went to Florida and has been staying at the House of a friend there. The State Department spokesman did say that foreign leaders or diplomats who entered the country on diplomatic visa have 30 days to leave the US if they're no longer on official business.
