The Normal Function of a Plasma Cell

The patient had no symptoms of anormocytic anemia. He had a normal colonoscopy just a few years prior, no family history of any colon cancer,. and truly asymptomatic. The plasma cells function is really the hemoral immunity and producing antibodies. And normally you have multiple populations of plasma cells that produce many different types of immunoglobulins or these antibodies. It's not that we have an overabundance of one type of cell, which really is what you think about that clonal process.
