Some transversal skills lend themselves to assessment more so than others. Students may well be good critical thinkers or communicators, but they might actually lack the language to speak to that. I think universities and higher education institutions have to be almost like curators of these concepts. They're slippery, they're nebulous, but they're so important. We need to articulate what we mean by that and stand over it.
