The Theory of Change for Journalism

I've come to think of it as a trickle down theory of change that like you speak with quote unquote objective facts and you present both sides. So there's this like assumed audience of sort of white upper middle class people are an assumed audience of people who are going to go vote or whatever. And so the idea of what's going to happen after someone reads your story is totally different, right? We speak to people from a point of view and we bring them information that's from and with and for the community.
