Reverend Richard Coles on the Grief of Losing His Partner David

Next week's guest is the Reverend Richard Coles. At the heart of our conversation is the deep joy and turmoil brought into his life by his partner David, then the terrible grief of losing him. Part of the reason why I loved him was because there was a bit of a Mr Hyde in him sometimes. He could be a hell-raiser sometimes. And he was magnificent when he did that, although sometimes terrifying at the same time. There was a boldness, a bravery about him, that a part of me wanted to give him a round of applause as well.
