The Relationship Between Ego and the Pure I
Ego is not just a thought, but it's a thought unlike any other thought. So long as we don't look at ourselves carefully enough, we seem to be ego. The relationship you want to call it that between I the pure I and ego, the impure I is like the relationship between the rope and the snake.
