The Faust Myth
There's a broader, social, am anthropological story about technology and a relationshipto technology. And so by buying into developments like the industrial revolution, maybe societies as a whole are making a faustian bargain where theyre trading off on ema future wellness for immediate gain. So yet, i think that that sort of set of trade offs around technology and progress and reductionism is a somming we see over and over again at both the individual and the social level.
