The Covenant of Salvation

The way it works is that God chooses to save you. And he affects that change in you and whether or not you even would prefer it to happen. So this is a choice freely made by God, freely made according to the secret counsel of his. We can't figure out who he's chosen in every case as well. But I think it is important to say something that my pastor likes to say: Outside of the church, there's ordinarily no possibility of salvation.
