Is It a Good Idea to Work on Babel?

I was lucky that my coworkers and my boss, they were very encouraging. They gave me 50% time to work on Babel at some point during his time there. And I felt like I was doing a lot of work, not with, obviously not with the rest of my team. No one was like being mean or anything. It was just kind of like, everyone's doing their own thing and I'm doing my own thing sometimes. You can't really solve that, right? The parts of open source that I liked most were these, like we were saying about the people side, all that stuff again.
