At a very young age, i was taught to distrust white people. That doesn't mean that i never trust white people, but it means that i approach every interaction with a white person with my hand out and i have to feel you out first. There's an underlying record player going in our mind, whether we want to acknowledge it or not. But there's an underline record that says, this could go left at any moment. This could be a problem.
