The Law of Nature Is Always Stronger Than the Evidence for the Miracle
i think where this argument goes seriously wrong is in the contention that a miracle is a violation of the laws of nature. I insi en i talk a little bit about why i think goes wrong there. A natur callit l rite, a law of nature. L tells us what effects follow from a natural cause x, in a given set of conditions. So for example, it tells us that flames apply to wood when the wood is dry. Under those conditions, rit ignite the wood. Eh, what if we change the conditions instead, say, the wood is wet? In that case, it's no violation of the law that the wood does not ignite.
