When they came to renovate this, one of the questions was, okay, is there an actual rock cut tomb underneath the kind of built facade that you see today? And lo and behold, there is still standing. If you go into the tomb, there's some channels that run off to the left-hand side as you enter the tomb. You can see the bedrock still in between the stone facade of the edi-cule.
