The book is trying to make the case for acceptance, recognition of a different role for the academic an society. It is about the rewards of the academy standing in the way. A i would also add at that this is a book i've wanted, i've wanted to get off my chest for a long time. But since we last spoke seven years ago, a lot has changed to make this book more relevant and more important.
