The Joy of Heaven
I want to say a word of hope as we wrap up here. In the Christian story, Good Friday is followed by Easter Sunday and that for Christians suffering is never the end. We know that because of the victory of Christ, something more is being promised to us. And that's not just like some kind of empty optimism. That's the kind of thing that can bear the weight of our hearts.
