How I Found My Passion for Journalism
After leaving university I was kind of thinking, oh maybe I'd do radio or something like that. So I applied to be an intern at Prospect magazine which is a monthly current affairs magazine. They paid what was not bad at the time for an entry level job especially if you lived with your parents and they basically showed you the ropes. And so yeah, that was the start. Working in a small magazine I think it's a great place to start because you're at a small team you get a lot of responsibility very quickly in a way that you wouldn't if you were in like a Guardian or the Economistor wherever right.
