As a female, I think that it's important to know what your own personal financial position is before you step into this business. And I would highly recommend that you have your own house in order and be as close to debt free as you can. If you can build it right from the beginning, you're not building in a bunch of poopy clients that eventually one day, you want to get rid of because those poopy clients are just not worth it.
