My governor Snyder did admit that the Flint water crisis was a failure of government at all levels, but he had no intentions of resigning from office. In fact, Governor Snyder would go on to complete his second term in full. Professor Mark Edwards also testified at one of the congressional hearings. His theory was directed at someone who had already resigned, Susan Hedman, at the EPA. Ms. Hedman said EPA had nothing to do with creating Flint because the EPA has effectively condoned cheating on the lead in copper rule monitoring since 2006.
