The latest data from Ireland is kind of interesting. It broke down attitudes to immigration, not by class, but by political affiliation. 61% of all people who intend to vote Sinn Fein want immigration to stop. Contrast that with Fina fall, Fina Gayle, the middle class, centrist vote much more likely to be tolerant. I think it's 47% of Fina gayle voters saying Ireland has too many immigrants.
