The Illusion of Concurrency
A call back implies that multiple things are going on. Asencrenus, things are happening, and you are blocking or waiting until they're done. Modern languages all have a synchronus primitive, so that stuff can happen not concurrently - sometimes it's a lie. The illusion of concurrency is my new bad name.
