Fast Fashion Is Costing the Earth
On Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Buhu announced the sale of all sales by tweeting out a link for direct access met with a message that read 100% discount drop. This was the same company that had a 100% off sale a year prior after all. Not only did the sale raise concerns about the fast fashion industry, but it also brought up concerns about the workers themselves. But pretty little thing claimed that everything was okay and posted a statement on Twitter assuring their customers that the sale was not going to reduce the wages for their workers.
