Sobriety is like getting a facelift. Alcoholism in AA is apparently fully self-diagnosed, so anybody can be an alcoholic. In sex and love addicts and onomists, it's not just going to be people who compulsively have sex with strangers or they can't stop f***ing. The 12-step program isn't appropriate for addressing intimacy and sex issues. It takes me a long time to do research personally.
