The Path to Grabiness

In a large civilization, it just takes any one small part that is inclined to and has the tech resources to become grabby for the descendants to be grabby. In the last half century, our world has in fact been coordinating more at a global level. And we see that same level of convergence with lots of other kinds of regulation,. like nuclear energy, genetic engineering, airline safety, lots of other things.
