Al Sharpton Is the Light Skin Elite

Al Sharpton is like an Emersonian figure, self-rebegetting and self-reinventing. He ran for president twice and created a new generation of aspiration around politics. Al Sharpton did something that no other black leader who was the leading black leader of his or her times had to do deal with the black president. So he will be historically will be treated far more kindly than some have tried to make him out in our own time.
