The Different Types of Radio in America

UK radio is relatively straightforward. Tracks are added to daytime rotation based on things like shazams, streaming data and just passion from the kind of key people at radio stations. Whereas in the US, I think it's very much more like... I could be massively wrong as well, but it just feels like there's huge pockets of the US where you listen to this and you listen to that  and then you don't go and listen to this or that. It's kind of strange. But I think also the way the radios are set up, like to be successful on radio in America is very different to becoming successful as an artist on radio in the UK in Europe.
