A lot of people do well with their macro avoidances. If I avoid stuff, it makes my anxiety worse. But looking at little micro avoidances, looking at little safety behaviors before you go to bed. You don't need to protect yourself from nocturnal adrenaline rushes. They're not dangerous. They're just uncomfortable. The message down to Mr. Lissard brain is that we better be on guard.
