The Role of Liberal Ideas in the Late 60s and 70s

I want to come back then to why was there this revival of classical liberal ideas in the late 60s and 70s. And I do think there are three. One is, is that we do need to be clear about our own ideas. And then applying them to current problems. So, for example, when the Great Recession occurred, I don't think classical liberals had a very good narrative to explain what has happened. That one later on, but by then they should have moved, moved on.
