Professor Jean Garopp: Scientists don't engage in the question of, should I be doing this or not? Or do they just approach it as I should do it because I can. Professor Jones had quite a list of areas he wanted to regulate. How do you know on embryos in particular, what did you make of his position there? Well, his position is that embryos can be people and they're very close to what we recognize as human life socially. Whereas I don't think as a society that is the line that we've agreed. That's why we allow people to terminate pregnancies.
