The Secret Negotiation of Charles Lucky Luciano
Charles Lucky Luciano was born in Sicily, but his family emigrated to the US when he was eight. He was Italian by birth and by blood, but had an American vision of the future. His boss, Masseria, was a moustache-pit, and Luciano believed that even if his side won the war, Masseria's old-fashioned values would get in the way of growing the business. With both bosses out of the picture, Luciano called a meeting of crime bosses from across the U.S. The commission put the top crime families into a single organization known as La Corzanozra.
