The Supreme Court Won't Get Involved in the Political Question Doctrine

The president's chief council was not alone, apparently, in making this case that has never been made to the public before. They wanted to go ahead with it anyway, because they were convinced the court wouldn't get involved. And so if the courts stay out of it, that will mean that we'll have the ten days for the states to weigh in resolv at and then the people will be able to accept that. The question of who holds power in this country decided in the streets, decided basically by combat.
