Dave: I think Kant was a desire satisfactionist about happiness. That doesn't that make sense Dave, you know like use your example about the spouse Like it might be that you have a lot of desires like every time you go to a conference to To cheat on your spouse, but you think that the desire to be faithful is one that you have good reason to have. And so that's what pushes it over the edge to to value it makes sense and in some ways it's an endorsement of the desires.
