In learning English, you could find a teacher. You might need a language partner or a teacher or someone who can help you. It's fun to climb with other people and enjoy the general camaraderie of climbing together. And similarly, in English, it's good to have a peer group. So I think that as far as I can stretch this particular metaphor that learning English is a bit like climbing a mountain, I think I've probably stretched the metaphor as far as it will go. What do you think? Can you think of any other similar similar things? And what about any differences?"
