Immutability is a difficult property because you could carve your letcer into the rocky mountains, and there could be some sismic event that gets in the way of immutability. Even with that, generally, i think we actually want to be able to undo things. There are systems that you can design that allow you to prove that a certain transaction took place. And this is much simpler than block chain technology in itself. migrations are already a hard problem to solve, especially on distributed systems, but using the block chain makes it even more difficult. It might just be oical if that's already sufficient. Also, there are a number of compatibility issues that you need to take
