The Challenge of Freedom
If you're a libertarian, the vision is just straight out negative. Right, it's lack of corrosion. And then you should be able to do whatever you want. As long as there's no corrosion, but for when everything has moral content, suddenly everything public or has moral content. So there's a purpose for freedom. The purpose is your life, the purpose is your values, the purpose are your mind. All right, so that's our conception of freedom. Very different, I think, from what's out there in the world. It's important when you talk about freedom to define it, so you know who you're talking to and you know what we're talking about.
